Pre-press

In the beginning was the word. Then came the Web. Now we have Web 2.0. This means that people themselves are now creating the Web, even as they use it. This applies to VVA Datenmanagement customers too.

You can approve the proofs for your publications online. And from anywhere in the world. In the past, couriers had to bring the proofs from the printers to the customer and then from the customer back to the printers. Time-consuming. And really complicated if, for example, the company headquarters in Munich had to approve the pictures but a department in Barcelona had to approve the texts. VVA Datenmanagement creates the required decision-making structure online through the use of special software. We only go to print when all required departments have given their approval. And those responsible for a project can take a look at the project status at any time - and on any computer with Internet access.

VVA Datenmanagement always follows the same principle: Technology is not an end in itself. Technology is a means by which we can carry out projects for our customers more easily and more efficiently. One example here is the German Civil Servants Association and its affiliated unions (dbb - Deutscher Beamtenbund). VVA Datenmanagement creates the dbb magazine on the Internet along with 19 member magazines from the associated unions. All editiors can see the page plans and the production status of the dbb magazine and of the individual union magazines at all times. The editors of the union magazines can use between eight and 40 pages from the dbb magazine for their own publications.
